THE SCIENCE OF CHARIOT

The world of Multiple Sclerosis has seen dramatic changes:

MS is now no longer seen as three seperate diseases but one.

The inflammation behind disability is establised as occuring long before the first signs of the disease and is known to be still active to the very last day

Insights into the critical role of B cells and the precise nature of inflammation has led to an understanding of Slowly Evolving Lesions and a potential role for the EBV virus.

Over 19 drugs now have a UK licence

to modify the course of MS disease and mitigate relapses.

However, not everyone with MS has seen changes to their treatment.

This trial is about those people.
